Psychologists say that if you look at a child’s behavior you will get a pretty good picture of their natural talents. They say, at the age of 3, I had my own distinct taste. My very sweet father had the unfortunate task of getting me dressed and ready for school each morning. I would go limp noodle and lay on the floor because I wasn’t in the mood to wear what he chose for me. He would coax and try to reason with me, but there would inevitably be a “War of Wills” and a pile of clothes in the middle of the floor. Confused and baffled, my poor dad would relent and let me choose my own ensemble (and a promise of a donut; bad, bad). Back in those days, we’ll call my ensembles ‘creative’.
In High School, let’s just say that there was a strong correlation between my grades and my clothing budget. I was heavily compensated for good grades (not proud). I received an injection of clothes every grade term. I believe this taught me early on to work within a designated clothing budget.
I was quite the shopper by the time college rolled around. In order to keep the current fashion trends flowing, I was known to sell off last seasons’ items in my Sorority House room on a regular basis; an Estate Sale of sorts.
Now, that I’m well into adulthood, I’ve received the proper training and am well practiced in the art of wardrobe management. I’m here to help you!
